Burlesque is a style of live entertainment that encompasses pastiche, parody, and wit. The genre traditionally uses a variety of acts such as dancing girls, singers, comedians, and strip tease artistes, all with a saucy edge.

A girl performing a striptease is not necessarily classed as burlesque. Her act should involve elaborate props, be amusing, satirical or even tell a story in order to be classed as a burlesque striptease.

Time For Tease artistes a carefully choreographed to be suitable for 'digestion' with afternoon tea. In other words, we concentrate on the beautiful, elegant and amusing end of the burlesque spectrum. Acts are risqué but never vulgar. We also mix the striptease with singers and comics over the course of an event to add variety.

We realise that some clients may not want the saucier elements of what we do. Rest assured, our performers can easily be toned down or adapted to suit a more conservative audience!
