Camp Bestival will be held at Lulworth Castle in Dorset on July 24 / 25 / 26. Our tent is going to be an Edwardian holiday camp (Jeeves & Wooster meets Pontins if you will). It'll be called 'Tofflins' - there will be fez's and smoking jackets a-plenty.

Afternoon Tea
During the tea sittings at Camp Bestival you'll be dazzled by our lovely vaudeville and cabaret performers. Completely family friendly and highly entertaining, at any given tea sitting you'll see most of the following acts:

Michael "Atters" Attree - satirist and "Official Bounder" of The Chap magazine ('Atters' to his friends) will instruct the audience on the amusing art of moustache care and being the perfect gentleman cad.

Kitty Bang Bang - gives a high energy take on the Charleston.

Frisky & Mannish - an incredible musical duo who chew up pop classics and give them a hilarious twist.

Fanny Malone - a salt of the earth cockney chanteuse who'll be singing for her tea over the course of the afternoon.

Balthazar & Lil - Classic comedy skits from a bygone age.

The boys and girls from Karauke (karaoke with a live ukulele backing band) will be with us every night. www.karauke.net

On Saturday and Sunday we'll be open for breakfast with the lovely Storytellers Club. Hostess with the mostess Sarah Bennetto will be joined by able raconteurs Robin Ince, Liam Mullone and James Dowdeswell.

At Storytellers' you could hear comic tales, ghost stories, travel anecdotes, mysteries, horror stories, adventure stories, stories set to music, and of course, the odd love story. And because they're told by experienced comedians, you'll find that most stories will be at times heart-rending, as they are side-splitting. myspace.com/storytellersclub

We'll also have the infamous Time For Tease Burlesque Revues late night in the tent. On Friday we've got seaside holiday camp antics in "Camp Bestival On Sea". On Saturday we have a glorious romp through your favourite parts of the Carry On films with our "What A Carry On" tribute show and on Sunday we'll be getting festive out of season with "Sometimes Christmas comes in… July?!?!"

We've also got the lovely Oisin Lunny with the Nightcap Club… tunes to do your own bumping and grinding to until closing time every night.
